Thrill the World - Workshop (Part 2)

  • Kensington Town Hall 32 Bellair Street Kensington, VIC, 3031 Australia (map)

Have you ever wanted to dress up as a Zombie and dance to Michael Jackson’s Thriller?

Thrill The World is coming to The Flem-Ken Festival of Arts and Ideas. We will be joining the global phenomenon in the attempt to break the World Record for the Largest Simultaneous Thriller Dance, placing Flemington/Kensington on the map of Zombies dancing around the world on October 27.

Free dance workshops will be held throughout October. Come learn the iconic Thriller dance and connect with your neighbours. No dance experience required. Open to 'Zombies' of all ages and abilities.

Join our Thrill the World Flem/Ken Facebook group for updates (workshop location, dance tips, notes, etc) - https://www.facebook.com/groups/ttwFlemKen

Registration required for both workshops and performance (to ensure we have enough space to fit everyone)

The choreography will be taught in three parts to ensure that you feel comfortable with the moves to bring out the best Zombie in you. You only need to attend one session from each part, there are two sessions each week to choose from.

You do not need to participate in all the workshops to join the performance. Learn the routine at home, then join us for the final group rehearsal before the performance.
